I was urged to make a statement last year and I did. We tend to forget swayed by daily chores, but time is running out. Yes, I am talking about environmental issues. I just kept the piece, for a while, thinking about making similar pieces when I have little more time.
Few months ago, one of my artist friend sent me an information of juried exhibit, which art had to be made from recycled materials. I applied. Fortunately, my piece was not only selected, but also sold. Moreover, I made a speech about the piece last week. It's like Christmas and birthday came together.
